Located in the middle of “De Pijp” we offer a luxurious and fully-furnished, one-bedroom apartment on the top floor of a historic building (1876). “De Pijp”, the hip and creative part of Oud Zuid is also referred to as the 'Quartier Latin' of Amsterdam. Packed with boutiques, bars, restaurants it has a young and fashionable vibe. The apartment is in a great location: close to a number of tram stops, the Albert Cuyp market, the Utrechtsestraat, Museum Square, the Sarphatipark and the Heineken Brewery and yet, the street itself is very calm.
The apartment has been fully renovated and finished to the highest standards in September 2014. The building has a new foundation, roof, double-glazed windows and a mechanical ventilation system, thus ensuring a comfortable feel during hot and cold days. The modern, white kitchen with a black natural stone counter is equipped with a gas stove, range hood, a Bosch microwave/oven, Bosch dishwasher and a good-sized Bosch fridge (that includes a freezer). The kitchen has ample storage space and is fully equipped to a high standard - including a Nespresso coffee maker / milk foamer, Villeroy & Boch cutlery, Zwilling J.A. Henckels Knives, Leonardo glasses, Tefal pans and a Krup Kettle.
As sleep is incredibly important, the room contains a very comfortable, Queen-size bed, with a box-spring mattress and pillow topper of natural materials. A build-in wardrobe provides ample space for clothes and storage. Though the bedroom is at the front of the house and has 4 windows, the high-quality insulation of the roof and windows ensure a peaceful night’s sleep.
The bathroom is beautifully tiled and contains a full-size bath, separate rain-shower, as well as a luxurious double sink with storage.
